The google option is there but is ticked by default, see DavidR's post ( reply 1 )
I know about that, I saw an old style of install wizard, not the new one...
But I don't have screenshot or like that, so it could be my mistake.

Autosandbox is gone  ???
It's there for me under additional protection.
Same here.

I was always wondering if Auto Sandbox continues to function if you turn off File System Shield...

No, it won't, the decision whether to auto-sandbox the executed application (or to show the query) is done during the FileSystem Shield's scan of that file.

I install it over the top and autosanbox don't work. For example it can't catch the autosandboxme tool. Also it forget many options(they returned to the default values).

Have you rebooted your system after installing avast, for sandbox module to start you have to reboot.

There are other new settings in Settings -> Popups.

Now I re-installing avast to confirm its installing behavior.
If I select "Custom Install", "Install Google Chrome" checkbox becomes unselectable and I can't stop installing it.
This behavior should be changed...  :-\

Working just fine in mine after install and reboot (if you have).

The last mentioned option doesn't really work yet.

I also confirm it can be deselected as is shown in my second image in Reply #1 above, I did a custom install also.
