getting virus msg
« on: November 21, 2004, 10:36:30 PM »
I keep getting a msg flashing up from avast, it is saying:

Avast shield blocked DCOM exploit attack from 80.43.103.
106.194:135/tcp

I have done a virus check and seem to be clean but how can I stop the attack in the first place.

I have disconnected for an hour and unplugged my modem but soon as I came back on it is here again.  Dont know what to do.

Please answer soon

If I posted in the wrong place I am sorry didn't know where to put it

Only way to stop them is making sure EVERY system in the entire universe is clean from malware.

Use the search function on this board and use as keyword DCOM.
What the message mean, what DCOM is etc, has been explained multiple times already.
