VRDB - Deep Tech Info?
« on: November 22, 2004, 11:21:11 PM »
Hello,

I read the FAQ and now basically know what the VRDB does.
But as I really would like to know more about it:
Could someone please explain me, how VRDB and recovery are working in depth?

What infos from which files are saved? How are these infos used to reconstruct the files?

I read the FAQ

Do you mean FAQ on my signature?
There is some compiled information there. Will it help?

Hello Technical,

I read the section in your FAQ. But I want to know more.

Currently I can only imagine what is saved from the files...
Maybe Checksums and the beginning and end sequence of the files, so avast knows where to strip the virus off.

But thats only pure imagination. Any further infos?
