With avast 4.5, it only offers the options if they are applicable. So a file that is infected and can't be repaired (trojans and files that haven't been scanned by the VRDB process), then you won't see the option to repair. You will only see move to chest or delete, move to chest is the safest first step as it can be reversed later, unlike delete.

- avast! version and VPS file (virus database) number, e.g. 0436-4 (see about avast!)
- What was the virus name, what was the filename, where was it found
example (C:\windows\system32\infected-filename.xxx)?
- What actions have you taken to try and resolve the problem?
