unable to use registration form or online registration form on new beta

Hello guys, have been using the new beta ver 7.01401 for a few days...for some reason I am not able to use either format to register avast free.  I use windows XP home, comodo fw 5.9.  Program seems to be running ok other than that.  I have copied the key via email, but for some reason am unable to paste the code in the registration box?

What error message are you getting when you paste the key

I finally disabled the self-protection mode & was able to paste the no. in the box.  Before I disabled the self-protection mode I was unable to paste the number in the registration form.  I did not get an error code --- the box froze up, so I just exited out of that screen.  After I pasted the code in the form I re-enabled the self protection mode.

Hmmm... Hope the programmers take a look on it... Seems a problem on the registration. It shouldn't be necessary the disabling of the self defense module...
