why safezone does not get updated to the latest version of chrome ?

Is avast updating it via definition update ?
speed is the major problem in chrome 9 it is slow hope someone of avast could update the browser.

Well, for one it is not Chrome it is Chromium, and even then it is only Chromium-based...it is Avast!'s own build now, so it will not keep pace with all build updates.   

A lot of the security updates for browsers that are needed come from weak points that are altogether absent in the SafeZone, so it does not need as many updates anyway.

ok got your point anyway safezone browser stays slow while comparing to latest chromium but as you said it has tight security.hope they would update it just for speed
