Win32:QQHelper-X [Trj]
« on: March 02, 2012, 04:13:19 AM »
I'm using Avast 7 Free version.  Scans repeatedly show:

File name=Process 3440 [superantispyware.exe], memory block 0x000 ... , block size 1002708    Severity=High  Status=Threat: Win32:QQHelper-X [Trj]

However no action is shown, so I can't do anything about it.  Can you tell me if this is some kind of false positive and/or how to deal with it?

Thanks

Thank you for the response, Papu.  I should have done a better search before posting.  When I searched "memory block" I found information confirming what you said.  I did indeed do a custom search and included memory.  This apparently detected malware signatures from Superantispyware that reside in memory.  I appreciate your quick response.
