Bug/GUI glitch

If anybody noticed this but i did....


If i open the UI and click on the settings tab on the top right and then close the setting window by clicking OK[not just X out] the status of avast account changes to not connected for a second or so and then changes back to connected....any thoughts??

Just tried it, it doesn't happen here.
W8.1 [x64] - Avast Free AV 23.3.8047.BC [UI.757] - Firefox ESR 102.9 [NS/uBO/PB] - Thunderbird 102.9.1
Avast-Tools: Secure Browser 109.0 - Cleanup 23.1 - SecureLine 5.18 - DriverUpdater 23.1 - CCleaner 6.01

Just tried it, it doesn't happen here.


I have been seeing this happening on my system since public beta.And yeah u need to hit ok and not just X out the window then i see this bug.

Even then I wouldn't call it a bug..!! At most it's a minor glitch. ;)

I see the same thing you do. It might be done for a reason aka to update myavast to reflect any changes made in the program. I would guess this happens any time you OK out of any setting window but we can't see it because we can't see the current status info at all times.

In all honesty, I don't believe there is anything to do, no bug.

When you open the Settings, even if you don't make any changes and click OK it would momentarily refresh the Summary screen to take account of any changes that you might have made.
