There is no need to run Avast in compatible mode.

And those display settings are Windows settings, not Avast's.

We see where you got it from now. However, that is a function of windows (not avast!), which forces a program to behave differently.

Still, that's not in avast! settings. It's in Windows settings and how to start particular programs. Try to find those settings inside avast! configuration page or anywhere in avast! settings and you won't find it...  ;)

thanks for the info, i figured it was avast  but it wern't, so i'll know what to look for  next time a screen turns green !!!  Sounds Like good title for new blues Brothers movie !!  thanks ya'all  ellwood
