Browser Problem

Having trouble with firefox with the paid version of avast worked fine with the free version, turned off firewall on avast program so it would not conflict with windows firewall still wont run properly.. any suggestions greatly appreciated........................ :-[ :-[ :-[  All Good Guy's, Reloaded avast back on and hey presto..thanks for your input.cheers.:) :) :)

Can you describe your problem in more detail? Does it mean your browser isn't loading web pages, crash, or something else?

example, facebook comes up in a different format, also other web pages,eg herald sun

You do not have to deactivate any of the firewalls. Avast ! and Windows will not conflict with each other. If you want to turn off any of them, pick Windows and keep Avast!.

instead of loading the page across the screen it loads down the left hand side of the screen in a list format??? Have gone back to the free version works fine again... should mention im running firefox on xp..

That happens to me once in a blue moon using IE. I just refresh the page and is gone. May be some flash or script that did not load right. Could not be Avast! since you said that Avast! free runs OK and there is no difference between Free and paid with the web shield or script shield. May be just a glitch ????
