Going back to Verion 6.0 from 7.0.1426 due to BSOD with aswsnx.sys

Having AV pro 7.0.1426 on couple XP Professional SP3.
Computers will randomly getting BSOD with the aswsmx.sys driver, could be while browsing or sitting idles.

The AutoSandbox were not enable.
Before I could nail down what is conflicting with, could I go back to version 6.0.xxxx
My last AV setup download onhand is on V5.0, If I unintall the v7 now and putback V5, the program update will bring it up to V7, skipping V6.

Is there any download link I could get the V6.0.xxxx back ?

Sandbox driver is aswsnx.sys.

Please look for the latest minidump in C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\minidump.dmp. Compress it with ZIP, RAR or 7Zip and give it an original name. It will also be a good idea to include a text ( use notepad ) with your Forum e-mail and URL of this post. Avast! is always interested in BSOD dumps.


Upload the minidump to ftp://ftp.avast.com. Use IE for this and follow instructions.


Or Start > Run > Copy/paste " explorer ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming " without the quotes. Drag dump file into the ftb window.

Thank You All for the advice.
Will follow the upload instruction if the BSOD occurs again.
While pending for version 6, I decided to scan my disks as IE is sluggish and look for possible conflicts.
I had removed couple viruses which are sitting in the \local settings\temp folder and I also removed the VMware workstation 5 for trails.

Will keep the Avast 7 for now and monitor whether the BSOD will come back or not.
Will update in a week or two.

I have the same problem since AIS 7 first beta version and already uploaded minidump as I mentioned in one of my posts here.

Hope to find fixed avast!IS in the next program update...
