at the first start of avast 4 home i have the message :
Storage cannot be created for the "splash" task
Can you help me please.

Change ODBC to XML in avast4.ini and let us know if it solved the problem.
This has been explained in many threads on this board already. Please use the search function next time before asking.

Hi,visit this page
www.excessive-software.tk
and download avast! External Control tool.
Extract it,run the file and you should se ODBC/XML option on the list.
Open it and switch from ODBC to XML.
