As said before, the Symbian architecture is not open for this kind of security software. Also, there is not the same security risks. You're safe.
Last but not least, the market share is against Symbian OS.

OK, since it's a minor update, I'll just put it here.

An incomplete changelog of avast! Mobile Security 1.0.1473 as seen on Android Market:

* Multiple bug fixes including a fix for the automatic updates bug.
* Added an option to change language in application settings.
* Added passworded avast! Anti-Theft removal wizard to avast! Mobile Security settings.
* The firewall can now be toggled between "Deny selected" and "Allow selected" modes.

Changing language, it's good. But Avast make me sad. It's Czech company, right? I can chose from English (I understand that English is most used language for IT....), Portuguese, Italian.... Why Portuguese? Why not Czech? I don't understand why the Czech company don't respect (or prefer little bit) national users? So I am sorry for my angry, but it's still like the same, and unfortunately not only in Avast :-( Our small country is not so good for business and for retrospection. The question is, when Avast will obtain native language?

I have no antivirus in phone, I wait for avast, because I really like it and Trust the Avast team. (I really don't trust eg. AVG on mobile and for Windows too) Keep good working :-)

Thanks for answering.
Charla

Why Portuguese?
1. Because I've done the translation :)
2. Because Brazil is the 1st avast market for PC.
3. Because Brazil is the third avast market for mobile.

Charla, the Czech version will come soon. I wish I could speak Czech :)

<snip>

The short answer is that you can't as you don't have an android (operating system) phone, you have a phone with a Windows 6.5 phone operating system. This isn't a supported operating system.

Quote
What are the system requirements for avast! Free Mobile Security?
In order to install and run avast! Free Mobile Security, any phone capable of running operating systems Android 2.1.x, 2.2.x or 2.3.x is required.

Note:
avast! Free Mobile security
isn't supported (isn't compatible, cannot be installed and won't run) on Symbian, iOS, Microsoft Windows Phone/Mobile, Bada, WebOS, or any other operating system which is not specified as supported.

Hi everyone,

long time no see, right? :) An update of avast! Mobile Security has been released on Android Market, it might take some time (maybe even hours) from now before you get notified about the update availability, but I just thought I will let you know pretty soon this time :) The version is now 1.0.1590 and an incomplete changelog is here:

1) Multiple bug fixes.
2) Added Czech language pack.
3) Better memory management during SD card scan.

Hope you like it! Feedback is welcome of course :)

I see it is available as an update when I use the MyApps in the market, but clicking on update doesn't actually update just bring up the Open - Uninstall interface.

So it might be a while as you mentioned.

EDIT: Just tried it again and this time the Update came up and has now installed.

Public changelog? No, sorry. And I'm afraid I have to say no to both of your questions. As far as I know we didn't change anything in the install/update detection so if it didn't work on your tablet before, I fear it won't work with this version either.

Hi everyone,

I have just released a new version of avast! Mobile Security on the Google Play :) The new 1.0.2129 version features:

* Multiple bug fixes.
* Added Japanese and Dutch language packs.
* Scan of the SD card(s) now starts immediately.
* Added an option to keep the CPU running while scanning significantly increasing the speed of the automatic scan.
* Added an option to offer blocking of messages from numbers not in contact list upon their arrival.
* Enhanced usability of the password dialog.

Some of the fixed bugs:
* Icon disappearance on ICS.
* Firewall list lag.
* Firewall not working correctly on ICS with data plan set and enabled.
* Pin code (avast! password) being displayed in clear text in landscape device orientation (fixed in AMS now, will be fixed in the next AT release for AT as well).
* Application manager not showing all the applications when sorted by name.
* Virus definitions update errors not showing correct strings.

Hope you enjoy it, feedback welcome as always :)

I think that we needed to add a new permission for the new SMS block offer feature so that's probably why the update had to be manual.

Given that this topic was started almost a year ago, that AMS program update would have been long gone and superseded.

As far as I'm aware I have the latest version (see my signature).

Hi,

you need to have approximately 100kB of phone memory for virus database file. I think that your device won't let you install any new apps if you are below some threshold, usually at least 10MB so you should be fine.

Can the AV be tested by downloading the EICAR file?

Hi,

yes, although at the moment I think that it will be caught only when performing manual SD card scan.

But you can download an "eicar" app from Google Play and that should be caught the same way any other malware would be.

Two reasons. It looked like it was meant mainly for phones which obviously would be in much greater danger of being lost or stolen. I doubt if I will ever use this tablet on any other network but my home one and it does not have broadband capability.  It can not connect to phone type Wi-Fi.

The second reason is it said something about needing elevated access privileges and I just didn't want to do that.

I tested AMS against Eicar and it passed with flying colors. I downloaded the test file and it detected and deleted it during a full scan. I then tried to install the Eicar test app from the Google Play store and it also detected that and uninstalled it. All reviews I have seen of Android security apps unanimously say that AMS is the best you can get.

My Nexus 7 connects through my Smart Phone (Tethering) and since it goes on the road with me,
the Theft Protection is essential.  :)

I don't have a Smart Phone so I can't tether the tablet. I can definitely see why you need the anti-theft feature though.

• Simplified Anti-Theft installation
• New "Low-battery notification" feature in Anti-Theft component
• Network Meter now has a "Billing day" option
• Fixed various issues in Firewall and Call/SMS filter
• Web Shield now supports Boat Browser app and Boat Browser Mini app
• Added a Turkish language pack
• Minor user interface (UI) changes
• Other tweaks and bugfixes

When an update is available it will be placed on the google play site only at that point would it be available and should be updated automatically; so I can't see the point of having a manual process.

Hi,

you are going to see a new version on Google Play soon (2.0.3917), it only contains new virus definitions since it seems that the previous one resulted in FPs in some companies that use our product which are having internal troubles with definitions updates. So they asked us to release a new version on Google Play with FPs fixed which we did. You won't find anything new in the product itself.

I don't see it like that, for a start it is helping those who do have a problem. Not to mention if you look at the difference in the build number it seems to be more than just a fix for an FP.
Title: Re: Official Release of avast! Mobile Security

No it's helping companies not personal users. I take your build number statement on board but to counter that none of that is visible to the end user. I stand by my original statement as nothing that has happened directly add features or add any added value (to the personal user apart from the pain of updating of course). Internally sure changes have been made which was the reason one update occurred. This update was for a totally different reason.  Maybe I should change my original comment to 2 updates no new features. Am I having a little moan? Maybe. When it's all said and done does it really matter? Not really just thought it needed to be said.

Lol I knew someone would come up with that old chestnut! It's free so we should put up with things like this. No! So in your mind somebody gives you a cake for free of course. In that cake are ants and all kinds of crap but you eat it anyway because it's free. Now the same thing applies but you bought it from a shop you would go back to the shop and make a lot of noise yes? Point over!

P.S. Personally I would make noise in both cases why? Well in the case of the cake I am expected to eat it. In the case of software use it. I feel sorry for people that accept second best because things are free. As the song goes the best things in life are free. Which I agree with up to a point.

Song quoted was by Janet Jackson and Luther Vandross.

Hi,

it does, but as I said, it seems that they are (were) having some internal issues with definitions updates (not really related to the app itself) so the definitions were not being updated before the first scan. They might have been, for example, blocking access to sites outside their country and we have update servers all over the world causing the update to fail. But that's just a wild guess.

For a start your post (or the tone of it) was quite dismissive . I told you 1st why your argument holds no water as so what if it's free does that means we/I have to expect less? Nope not me. 2nd I told you what I was complaining about. The fact that after I have gone to the trouble to explain to you why I feel the way I do, you then dismiss me again and to add insult to injury go on like your the injured party! I would say a lot more but I do respect this forum and I would not want to lower myself by giving the reaction that I can now see that I am being pushed towards. Good day sir!
Title: Re: Official Release of avast! Mobile Security

What you have to expect is that the product is updated when there is a need, whatever that reason might be. Just because this update doesn't specifically effect you doesn't mean that it shouldn't have been done.

There are many software updates (not just avast) that don't directly effect all users, many are to ensure compatibility with new OS versions and new programs.
Title: Re: Official Release of avast! Mobile Security
Post by: patrice58 on March 09, 2013, 04:04:04 PM
I was not talking about the new builds as such only in the context of 2 updates in quick succession and nothing "new" ie feature wise. Everything else ie the free argument came out of nowhere. Of course you are right in the respect of updates as if they need to be done then so be it.
Title: Re: Official Release of avast! Mobile Security
Post by: DavidR on March 09, 2013, 04:17:15 PM
They don't need to have anything new as such if they are corrections, that is what program updates also do.

Unlike the windows versions of avast where the 'virus definitions and engine' updates are possible, plus the emergency update function. These functions aren't available in the android AMS so program corrections have to be done in a program update.

I haven't once mentioned free as it is irrelevant to the reason for the update.
Title: Re: Official Release of avast! Mobile Security
Post by: patrice58 on March 09, 2013, 10:19:34 PM
I was not referring to you with the free comment. I have already stated that it was not about the updates it was just about the fact that there was 2 updates and not any new features and that was it. Everything else is just added noise. Sorry David as it sounds like I having a go at you which is not my intention but I have explained that fact many many many times before. Please re read my original post that kicked this all off and you will see that was the case.

Very nice! Loving the new interface so far! I did notice, however, that you guys put the location of Avast! Anti-Theft's update checker in two different menus in the app itself, which seemed a bit odd. Overall though, no complaints. Love how much faster it's loading too!

Notification text is still misaligned compared to others (3G Watchdog and DrWeb AV). I don't understand how can everyone else align it properly, just not avast!...

As I already said, we use our own notification layout to display everything as we want it. The drawback is that it might not be aligned properly (or be the same size) on all ROMs. If we would align it on your ROM, RejZoR, we would misalign it on other ROMs in exchange.

Filip
Title: Re: Official Release of avast! Mobile Security

Ever thought your proprietary "layout" isn't good then? I can't seem to think of a single thing that avast! does so differently than others, that it needs something completelly different system for notification part. The thing is, avast! seems to be plagued with GUI being unrepairable messed up on various parts because of some rather stupid reasons. On PC, Last Update Attempt is misaligned and from what they said "there is no easy way to fix it". Say what!? avast! Mobile Security, exactly the same thing, just for notification bar. If you can't fix such trivial problems because program coding doesn't allow it, then you're probably doing something horribly wrong...

I have similar issue with on my jellybean phone. I reported sometime ago but got the same answer.
I could live with it as this is simply the best one in the market.
But all the other apps I am using are following jellybean style I would think it might make life easy to get rid off the
proprietary notification design.

Rejzor can you show me what you mean by "misaligned notification bar" as yes I understand what you mean but is it really that bad?
Title: Re: Official Release of avast! Mobile Security
Post by: Filip Havlicek on April 05, 2013, 03:20:37 PM
Hi,

first of all, our custom notification layout follows the Android guidelines and is aligned properly on our devices. If some custom ROM has different layout, it's not really our fault. Second, instead of sleeping last night, I figured out how to fix the layout on ICS+ devices so if you are using some of those, you should be fine. It can't be done on pre-ICS devices cause the notifications there are different.

So RejZoR, you owe me a few hours of sleep. The modified notifications should hopefully be included in the next version. If you are using a pre-ICS ROM then you are out of luck.

The avast! Mobile Security is the best antivirus for mobile phones! I rated it 5 stars on Google Play!!! ;)

Hi everyone,

you should see version 2.0.4400 available on Google Play soon. This time I have a more thorough list of changes for you folks here on the forum :) Here it goes:

- Initial Privacy Advisor scan should no longer repeat itself after going into the feature from dashboard
- Added "App security timeout" to AMS Settings (time after you have to insert PIN again to get into AMS after leaving)
- Completely changed layout of notifications on ICS+ devices (that's 4.0+ for those who are not familiar with the abbreviations)
- File Shield's "scan files when reading" should be turned off by default
- Uninstall Protection should now properly reset itself after the screen has been turned off
- Some other bugfixes (usually crashes resulting in AMS restart)

Hope you like it, especially the new notification layout!  8)

it's not planned at the moment, sorry. There is no official API for Firefox as far as I know so I'm not saying it's not possible, but it sure is not something I could do during a lunch break.

list of currently supported browsers is inside Web Shield option in Shield Control so you can check it out by yourself.

Thx for the notification text alignment fix Filip. It looks perfect now. Now you only have to add option for "Air Push Ads" detection under PUP detection and it will be perfect in every way i'll ever need it.

Hi everyone,

you should see version 2.0.4675 available on Google Play soon. This is pretty much the complete changelog:

• Added option to disable automatic saving of the Activity Log to SD card
• Improved File Shield to reduce CPU, memory and battery consumption
• SMS block offer is now available on all Android versions
• Fixed UI issues on some Sony Ericsson devices

Will take a look at it next week, but from first observations it seems that the app you mentioned downloads a LOT OF stuff to SD card (I read two articles and it says 70MB were downloaded).

there is a new update again today?

Nope, seems like Google's fault again.

Yep it does you are right as it uses the SD card as a cache saving the pictures in a articles you have viewed/selected. Which you have to then go into your SD card and manually delete. Fun!

• Uninstall protection and File Shield turned off by default
• PIN protection is now optional
• Added Belarusian localization

Someone is currently thinking we are getting negative user feedback because of them so this decision has been made. There is nothing wrong with the features as far as I know (meaning they work correctly).

Yeah, I have them on as well. It's true that someone might be experiencing, for example, elevated RAM usage with File Shield turned on, but such users should think about organizing their SD cards better in my opinion (and not having tens of thousands folders there).

I fear there is likely to be more negative feedback if you find that a security program doesn't have that security enabled by default. It kind of makes it pointless to install it in the first place, I say this as the majority of user probably aren't that savvy and would expect it to be enabled.

I've blamed the ROM but, now, after testing I could say it's not ROM related.
I will turned on again to see the impact.

What do you mean? I was with RAM usage with File Shield on. I have only the folders needed/created by the apps I have. How can I optimize the folder tree? Why is it related to File Shield? I mean, the number of the folders?

Yeah, that's unfortunately how it works on Android (number of folders directly impact RAM usage). I think you should be fine if you only have folders you mentioned. I think that usual apps create maybe 5 folders on average on SD card so having 100 apps that's 500 folders, that's just fine.

What were the defaults? If I remember correctly, one was on and other was off. Can't remember exactly...

Write on, read off.

I am pleased your phone is not effected but sadly that does not mean that other versions of android or phone manufacturers are not. I am only posting this because your post directly follows mine and you seem to imply that battery drain is solely or mostly dependent on what version of android you run but of course it's not as simple as that. I am running gingerbread 2.3.5. which is not great but it's battery management as a whole is quite good.
Title: Re: Official Release of avast! Mobile Security
Post by: bob3160 on May 30, 2013, 04:24:30 PM
For me, the battery drain was dependent on the version of android that was running.
Before the update to 4.1 happened, I was down to 3 1/2 hour of phone usage.
Now I can go more than 24 hrs before a charge is required.

@David,
You must get better update service in your country. :)

If you're referring to extra battery life due to the latest avast! update, there isn't any.
I've restored the unchecked protection which is what I installed the program for in the first place and,
for me, avast! was never the cause of a short battery life.

No I was referring to your android update.  AMS updates for me are very much suck em and see as some are worse for battery life then others which I assume is caused by the processor load being too high. (600mhz processor top of the range!)  ;D

Current release has been done by different people than usual, that's why there was no changelog here on the forum. Although the changelog here is usually the same as on Google Play since there is often no point in posting every line of code that has changed. If I think users on the forum should know more than on Google Play, I try to post it here when release is done. I didn't really keep track of the changes from 2->3 as there were too many so apart from the obvious, I can't tell you right now what has changed a top of that.

Thank you but I'd like you to make a list of changes like it is done for Windows versions. Users at 4pda.ru often doesn't realize what they will see on their screens as soon as they download and install new versions, so sometimes they try to catch any gossip (for example, they were sure that AMS v3 will be completely paid). That's why I would like to supply them with the information from the first hands and to attract their attention to our forum here.

Well, that's not possible I'm afraid cause unlike the above mentioned topic, we got 1 day between the updates, you can't possibly expect we'll do anything big in that time frame. And I'm pretty sure Windows versions don't list all small bugfixes as well.

But Asyn, as you can see, has more detailed information about AMS builds.
Title: Re: Official Release of avast! Mobile Security
Post by: Filip Havlicek on August 17, 2013, 01:59:34 AM
What I see is:

Google Play:
+ New App Locking feature (Premium)
+ New Ad Detector feature in Privacy Advisor (Premium)
+ Dashboard redesign, plus additional interface changes to improve user experience
+ New features inside Anti-Theft (e.g. Geo-fencing, picture taking)
+ New Backup functionality
+ Bulgarian language added

Asyn:
- Neues App Locking Feature (Premium)
- Neues Ad Detector Feature im Privacy Advisor (Premium)
- Überarbeitetes Dashboard plus weitere Änderungen der Benutzeroberfläche zur Verbesserung der Nutzerführung
- Neue Features in Anti-Theft (z.B. Geo-fencing, Foto machen)
- Neue Backup Funktion
- Diverse Tweaks und Fehlerkorrekturen

He actually missed the Bulgarian translation. And if you are talking about Anti-Theft, the changelog is written inside the app I think. But I don't develop nor release that app so its changelog is not known to me.

Yes, the same list is in the Russian Google Play and it is valid for all builds of AMS v3 branch. But if you look at the next Asyn's message (and at all his messages there) you'll note that he publishes information on every build.

Yes, because up to now, I published all that information in this thread. The only version I didn't publish here is first v3 (applies what is on Google Play right now) and the first update that came out yesterday, for which Asyn wrote "Various tweaks and bugfixes", which applies pretty much for every version we release.

Hi guys,

about 12 hours ago, we released an update of avast! Mobile Security, bringing it to version 3.0.6351. Changlog is following:

+ Avast Mobile Premium discount offer valid until 1st of October
+ Added Arabic localization
+ New context-relevant notifications (with the option to turn them off)
+ Various improvements and bug fixes

We worked most on the Arabic localization since we need to add support for RTL languages for that. We hope we did a decent job (I know there are still some issue, but hopefully with your feedback, we will be able to fix them) and actually the RTL support is for all our users beginning with Android version 2.1 so I hope that will make all our Arabic-speaking users happy :)

We also added the option to disable the advisory notifications some of you complained about after their introduction so if you don't want them, just go to Settings and disable them for good.

Note that the first line of changelog means there is now a time-limited discount on yearly licenses so you might want to check it out while it lasts.

Hi guys,

we released an update of avast! Mobile Security

Thanks, Filip. Do you know if there are any plans to restore the GUI for better tablet appearance? I had mentioned elsewhere here that with the release of the version that included Premium options, the GUI for tablets seemed to get messed up a bit. In some instances, all you get is a small block of text in the top centre of the screen rather than resizing for the entire screen as is used to do.

Additionally, is it possible to have the Settings tab put back on the main menu rather than on the drop down or the slide-out menus please? This is of particular help on smaller phone screens for those of us with poor eyes and not so nimble fingers! :)  (I have not yet updated my phones for this reason in the hope it may go back to how it was soon - how it is on the version I currently have on my phones.)

Hi,

I think you might speed up the process of tablet UI (being it restoration, fixing, redesign or whatever) by posting screenshots of specific things you don't like :)

I think I have heard something about the Settings, not sure now though.

Google says this:

"Price: When your subscription auto-renews, Google Wallet will charge you the initial rate you paid when you purchased the subscription."

So I guess so, yes.

Filip

Very nice! :-) Even more pleased that you did not end the price deal dead on midnight. (I would of missed it otherwise so thanks!)

posting screenshots

OK, I will see if if I can do that. Of course, I can't show shots of what it used to be like because I updated before realising there had been major changes. :)

However, if the Settings option is being moved back to the main menu that will go a long way to making the app like it was.

The tablet GUI I can probably get used to, but you know what it's like when there's a great app you're used to and then it gets changed for no apparent reason, it takes a while to get comfortable with it again.  Was there a reason some of the the resizing for tablet screens was taken out in version 3?

Hi,

a new Mobile Security version 3.0.6426 has been published to Google Play.

Apart from some internal changes, the app should now run without a problem on Samsung devices affected by changes introduced in the previous version. If you still have any problems with the UI, let me know!

We also changed the behavior of the App Locking advisory notification a bit so I hope all those "it got locked by itself" problems will go away since now you are always taken into the App Locking UI instead of directly locking the app.

Hi,

a new Mobile Security version 3.0.6426 has been published to Google Play.

Filip:

We received the update icon on the notification bar this morning in the U.S. However, when accessing through Google Play there are the following problems:

1.) Version is listed as 3.0.6351, the one we are currently running not the updated version.
2.) Update is actually dated October 7th
3.) There are only "open" and "uninstall" option buttons with no "update" button.

Basically it appears we got the notification for an update, but the correct version hasn't been loaded to Google Play. Happening on all phones.

Thanks.

Hi,

it usually takes Google Play up to 4 hours to update around the world. I guess it should be OK in around 3 hours from now.

Hi,

a new Mobile Security version 3.0.6426 has been published to Google Play.

You had me all excited, but I see the Settings tab has not been put back on the main menu, and the GUI is still not optimised for tablets as much as it used to be in version 2, but the good news however is that it appears to run a lot smoother now and scans are faster again.

I've given up on the GUI for tablets issue, but is there any way of getting the Settings option back on the main Menu as it it used to be versions before 3?

Wow!  I really don't understand that decision, or why it was even moved. I will keep the superior version 2 on my phones a little longer. I guess the developers have not yet developed poorer eyesight or arthritic fingers. Once again, older users are left out in the cold. ;) Thanks for letting us know, Filip. Much appreciated.

Hi,

if you are talking about Mobile Security then no, it should pick up your root access automatically. Anti-Theft must be installed as rooted though (advanced mode during Anti-Theft installation).

That's great but I think you should get the basics right first as avast backup is not working on my phone. Left a new thread in the relevant part of the forum for it to be overlooked. So sent a support request and no real help was and is forthcoming. I would be ok with that approach if I was not paying for your product to be ignored. If support can't/won't help then just say so don't leave me in limbo! *Rant over*

Hi,

I have pretty much nothing to do with avast! Backup (responsibility-wise) so you will have to rant elsewhere to get help/support :) I'm a mod there only to be able to move topic back and forth, you should seek help from Reinhard Holzner or Werner Mayr, they deal with Backup.

Hi everyone,

a few minutes ago a new version of AMS 3.0.6526 was released, changelog is following:

+ Ability to add apps to malware ignore list
+ App Locking password can now be always changed using avast! PIN
+ Fixed SMS Filter sometimes incorrectly blocking messages from textual senders
+ Fixed system Settings app being accessible even while locked by tapping quickly on notification shortcut icon

I think that the ignore list (or whitelist if you want to call it that way) was requested a lot even here on the forum so I hope you like it and it works for you :) The SMS Filter bug was reported here on the forum so I hope that's fixed as well to your liking :) We found the App Locking bug somewhere on YouTube I think (it apparently was that interesting to someone) so I hopefully took care of that by myself :)

The rant was not meant for you as you are the most helpful person on this sub forum hands down. I have tried ranting via email support even requesting my money back and even then nothing! *Sigh* P.S. Have a look in the backup forum and see how many people have problems with no help from mods.

Yeah, I know. I regularly look there and I'd like to help, but I didn't make the app so my knowledge of the topic (and especially bugs and stuff) is very limited.

Hi,

I was on vacation so can't tell you much more than the changelog on Google Play at the moment. But I think it basically tells it all (the major thing is that Anti-Theft received 4.4 support using built-in SMS client inside AMS accessible via the Anti-Theft option on dashboard).

Hi,

I just released a new version of Mobile Security on Google Play. The new version is 3.0.7118 and I can only give you the public changelog as I have been busy with some other tasks than look for what changed (sorry about that). So the public changelog is:

+ SMS blocker turned off on KitKat
+ Anti-Theft removal wizard moved to Anti-Theft menu
+ Localisations update
+ Easier opt-out from the SecureLine unsecure wifi promo dialog
+ Various bug fixes & minor design improvements

Let me know if you have other questions or problems with the new version :)

The new version is 3.0.7118
<SNIP>
Let me know if you have other questions or problems with the new version :)

Filip

According to my Google Play Store, (PC and Mobile), the latest version is showing as 3.0.7133, updated on 7 Feb 2014.

Where can I find v3.0.7118, or is the version no. wrong (either in Google Play Store or your post)?

Thanks and regards

Hi,

actually both versions are fine :) We just got reports that the 7118 was incorrectly marking some apps as PUPs/malware right after installation (the detections are fixed a few moments after the installation process though) creating concerns for some users so we decided to just update the installation detections on Google Play (unfortunately you can't release one version of an app twice so we had to increase the version number as well).

Hi guys,

you should see a new version, 3.0.7364, available on Google Play pretty soon :) The changelog is following:

+ Decreased size of Avast Mobile Security install file for easier updates. It also takes less space on the device.
+ Easier way to leave feedback within the app
+ Simplified process of entering voucher codes
+ Several bugfixes

Enjoy :) If you see any missing texts (cause we have been playing with those), let us know, thanks!

Short answer is that you can't - there is another topic somewhere in this sub-forum that has also asked this and from memory, this was what was said about it.

This isn't an avast issue - but one of all notification icons are meant to be the same (Google Play app restriction I believe) not using colour to stand out from the crowd.

You're welcome, it certainly looked nice against all of the bland icons - a strange ruling if you ask me. If they were all allowed to use colour then everyone is in the same boat.
