Avast AV NITRO Update Release-Version [12.1.2272]

This update is focused on improving the performance and detection capabilities. We also stopped using the year in product name, as we will be releasing new versions in monthly cycles from now. We also removed some features that might have been causing problems or not being used by many users in order to make Avast faster and lighter.

Changelog/Fixes:
• Lower system impact - faster boot time, less space taken on disk
• CyberCapture - better detection of unknown and unique files via our cloud technology
• Regular monthly program updates - automatic and silent, configurable via Settings
• Improved detection of router vulnerabilities
• New Bank mode in SafeZone browser
• Faster SecureLine connection
• Antispam is now as opt-in component
• Removed hardware virtualization (NG) - replaced with CyberCapture,that has much lower impact on system resources
• Removed Remote assistance - not used enough and not a core functionality

• Inserting license into expired program may cause invisibility of some components in the program UI. Repair fixes the issue.

Avast AV Beta-Version [12.3.2277]

This release is about passive mode which will make it easier to run Avast with another antivirus. To try it you can go to Settings and turn it on. It basically disables all realtime protection, but still receving virus definition updates and program updates so it's ready for on demand scans. Please try also to install this beta version on system, where is already another AV running, in that case the passive mode should be activated automatically. Please note that the other AV must be registered in WSC. This feature works on Windows 7 and higher.

Avast AV NITRO Update Release-Version [12.3.2279]

We introduce one new feature in this release called Passive mode, that will allow to run Avast on a PC with another AV smoother. It improves a performance of such PC and solves some compatibility issues. This mode is turned on automatically if you install Avast on PC, where another AV is installed. Or user can turn it on via Settings -> Troubleshooting. Passive mode disables the resident protection but virus database is still updated and Avast is always ready to run on demand scans. All other functionality is working as usual.
