Can't open facebook messages, JS:Agent-BWQ [Trj]
« on: June 05, 2013, 11:55:15 AM »
Hi!
I just registered here, because i can't find an answer in google which is not 2 years old. Those answers said that i should update my avast, but its updated.
The thing is, every time i open facebook, or facebook messages i get this warning:
Trojan blocked:
http://www.facebook.com/messages/1000016...
C:\Users\----\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome.exe
JS:Agent-BWQ [Trj]

It doesnt let me view the messages. What is this?

edit: and it doesnt let facebook chat run

Hello

If your account chrome is synchronized with your gmail account, desynchronize it it is not a good idea.
Your Java is it up to date?

I've got the same problem as well and I have tried using both Chrome and Opera. I can access the messages via the Facebook Chat sidebar but not the Inbox

I think the problem should be settled(adjusted) during the day or in the next putting in the daytime of avast

I've had the same problem too- blocking my Facebook messages using Facebook on chrome on my PC. However, i also use avast on my phone and it had no problems opening my messages via the Facebook app.

Yeah, a bad update from you guys..  ::)    Keep up the good work though, better to be more safe than not so safe! :p
Make a new update though, so we don't need to turn the protection off to get to the facebook msg...

Though, it would be a good idea to check facebook/comp for trojan before removing the failed update...?

Use CCleaner to clean the Java cache

That will always be done
