So far, I haven't found it, and I find it annoying to see a popup lingering on and on and on .. Can anyone tell me where to set it? As far as I'm concerned, 4-5 seconds is plenty, and for routine alerts, 0-2 is more than enough.

I've updated to Avast Free v2014.9.0.2007 from the GUI after having previous version 2014.9.0.2006.I ran a quick scan today and noticed for the first time since putting on the new v2014.9.0 that scan results are not visible or are the dates of scans visible unless I'm overlooking a setting somewhere. Is this a change with the new v2014.9.0 or is there hidden scan info perhaps only visible should you have a virus?
Sorry for the delay getting back to answering you DavidR. That is the info I was looking for. I also saw Bob's YouTube video and added "Virus Chest" and "Scan History" to the opening "Status" page. So now we have two ways to see what scans have been ran and if any problems were encountered.Change for a 73 year old man is not always easy. LOLRon - W3FSY
