master password

I need help changing the master password. I thought I wrote it down but I cant find it anywhere. I know its a rookie move but now I cant do anything, no downloads , no changes, nothing. Is there a way that I can access it by any means possible!! Its making me crazy!! :o

If you have lost your avast password ..... there is only one way...reinstall

www.avast.com > support > downloads > uninstall utility
