Avast keeps opening up pages in ie

HELP! I had to start using IE for my work (as opposed to chrome), and as soon as I open it, avast begins opening up page after page after page of  this (attatched) and then it keeps on and on and on and I have no idea what to do or why it's doing it, but please help!

I take it that you clear your browser history including cookies when you close your browser ?

The Avast Online Security (AOS) add-on stores your AOS settings in a cookie/history, removing that when shutting down is throwing up the AOS info/settings page on opening.

You can disable the AOS add-on in your browser or manage cookies using something else or don't cull cookies on closure.
