CPU cooler on a GPU?

I came across this while gaming/Watching Youtube.

He modified a CPU cooler, attached it to yes GPU. And then switched everything online. 10-20C cooler with the CPU cooler compared to the GPU!.

Now, I wouldn't do that. But still.
