Does anyone know when Avast Firewall is expected?
because I can't wait :D

Time to get rid of anoying ZoneAlarm  ::)

avast! is an AV program there is no Firewall expected.

I have no proof, but I strongly believe they are working very, very hard to release something like that... this silence from Alwil just kills me  ;D Right Alwil ?  ;)  8)

Why don't you try microsofts own firewall that does a exellent job

Microsoft's Firewall is only half a Firewall.   It only protects you from incoming traffic but does nothing
to guard your outgoing information.
I personally prefer to keep my sensitive information on my computer and not share it others. ;D

Use ZAPro v6 and you can bin prevxx as well,  but keep spywareblaster.

If people want a infected system or not is their choice, but they do need to take the responsibility towards others to prevent infections spreading further. So using the XP firewall shouldn't be an option to anyone.

And outbound to be precise. But limited to applications that act as server (usually backdoors)
