Repair Avast:
1. Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> Avast
2. Click on 'Repair'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.

Done.

Now. Unable to start Firewall. Error pop-up.  :o

1 disabled shield indicated in task bar. Enable all shields (1 disabled) does nothing.

Quick scan & Update functions. Will reboot after scan.

Is Firewall critical ?

Is there a way to set up BOOT-TIME SCAM to shut down computer when it is done ?

I would to start the Boot-time scan, let it execute and then automatically turn off the computer when done.
