ngvss.sys causing blue screen

I booted my computer after installing Windows Updates the previous night. I installed (KB3072633)

I was greeted to a blue screen. It was reported as K_MODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED (ngvss.sys). So somehow the NG Snapshot Driver caused my system to blue screen.

I am running Windows 8.1 . Avast version 10.0.2223


Any explanation would be appreciated.

Mesmo problema no Windows Vista desde a semana passada... :-(
