The Setup
last month ago i turned on my computer and found that my 'Avast Internet Security' wast turned on. Nothing i could do would get it to work. eventually i wound up just reinstalling avast all together, that seemed to do the trick. Operative word being 'seemed'. I turn on my computer today only to find that this entire time ive just had the 'Trial' version active and my time is up.
The Problem
I tried to login to my 'Avast Account' from the antivirus, I'm told my password is invalid.
I try to login from the website, I'm told my password is invalid.
I reset my password. And THIS WORKS. after resetting, i'm sent to the 'My Avast Account' page and all is well.
The MOMENT i log off and try to log back on again, I'm told my password is invalid
If i am currently logged on in the webpage and try to log on with the software,I'm told my password is invalid.
The Result
I've reset my password 4 times. the only reason i'm able to post this from my profile is because i immediately navigated here from changing my password.
I've uninstalled avast (although the problem persists on the 'Avast' website so i doubt that my computer has anything to do with it)
im not even sure who im supposed to Talk to about this, let alone how to fix it.
