The newest developer builds of Google Chrome include a PDF viewer, forsaking the plug-in model, and the possibility of system compromise
through the use of an older and possibly (probably?) insecure Adobe Reader on the user’s machine.

The Chromium blog announced that the latest Google Chrome developer build for Windows and Mac includes a plug-in that allows viewing of PDF files
without Adobe Reader plug-in. Google says it has decided to dump the traditional Adobe plug-in due to issues in compatibility, performance, and security.

Because I was in a rush and I did not know the sender of the email, I simply deleted the original message out of my inbox. I do things like that - as I said, I did not know who was the sender. So unfortunately, I do not have original email sent out to me, but I am sure that the attachment was identical.

However, they backed up on me (using my mail system delivery?) and appear to have resent to me as a delivery error. (screenshots)

The malware is in the attachment. Here is virustotal report

Does anybody tested the GiveAwayOfTheDay of today?
Chameleon Startup Manager can control programs that run at Windows startup, which makes Windows start faster and operate with increased stability. Programs can be run according to various functions including startup order change, startup delay, priority, consecutive program launch, day selection and much more. Configurations can be created and selected at Windows startup or applied ‘on-the-fly’ without restarting Windows. Chameleon Startup Manager provides real-time monitoring of programs added to the startup list.

I'll stick with WinPatrol.

I see 216 (52%) positive comments and 203 (48%) negative comments.

As was said in the comments, there is a totally free alternative called StartupDelayer that does almost all of the same things.

The thing that amazes me about this cr*p is that it doesn't amount to a hill of beans, or the results in the many av comparative tests would have a huge difference and that clearly isn't the case.

In most of the various AV tests there is at best a few percentage points between the top players and if this is to be believe the disparity would be enormous.

Then there is the next strange thing I don't recall seeing Blue Point in any of these tests either.

I don't trust the "results" either. As David said, no other testing authority shows such huge differences between products.
