Hi,I got the invalid code or email supplied the first time also. :)
So I reread the email they sent which contains the license key.You must use giveaway@wondershare.com as the email address. :P

The disc works well here and has a lot of good utilities supplied.I'll take a ready made WinPe boot disc any day for free. JMO
Hope this helps, Tim

I used the correct email address but got nowhere. Having tried a freshh download ( which was vwery quick) all is working now, I can only assume there was a problem with the original download.

I downloaded it after going through the process of getting the link sent to my email. After reading the email, I'm hesitant to install it because it says it's not fully tested. It also says that it will be included in the next Service Pack for Win7 and advises waiting until then if you have any trepidations. You also have to manually edit your registry after installing it to get it to work. I just don't know.

This might seem like a dumb question but what exactly are USB storage devices anyway? Is it only talking about thumb drives or are external hard drives also included? I have yet to use a thumb drive. I don't even own one yet.

Dch48, there is a script to download and change the registry automatically.
All the hotfix say the same warning about testing. But, after all, it's up to the user.

I have 3 thumb drives and they are quite handy even though they are only 1GB each.

I have many of them ranging from 1 Gig to 2 TB
The 2 TB external USB device is used to do my image backups.
The rest are used for too many things to list.  ;D

Internet Explorer 9 is Safest Web Browser, NSI Says

"Microsoft this week is touting the results of two recent studies from NSI showing that its Internet Explorer 9 web browser does a better job of protecting users from malware than the competition. In fact it's not even close."

Thanks Tech, This does really seem to improve transfer times.

Update: This does a good job of improving transfer times with USB 2.0, it doesn't do anything with USB 3.0. (But then again USB 3.0 doesn't need any help)  :D
