You don't have to use the AV part of Comodo. You can use just the Firewall if you wish to. I do agree though that CIS is a competitor to AIS. The notice of the new Comodo version was posted in the Updates board a few days ago and that's where it belongs, if anywhere.
Totally agree and the announcement should be for the Firewall only.
Mileh's apparent problem with me has nothing to do with the product itself.
I happen to recommend Comodo's Firewall and some others to those that ask for a free Firewall.
Mileh apparently has problems with lots of people and the AV industry as a whole.  ;D ;D

Melih seems to like promoting himself as the savior of the computing masses and doesn't take kindly to those who question his vision. You do have to give him some credit though for offering as much as he does free of charge.

IOBIT is giving away 10GB Free Storage

I don't trust Iobit but here is something if you want to upload some files.

It would be nice if you clicked my referral link as given below instead of the main link as given in the last line. I get an extra 300MB :D

I can't believe you are even suggesting this, I wouldn't give iobit the time of day, much less responsibility for the security of my data.

I don't have any on-line data storage account and if I ever chose to do so iobit would be last in line.

This actually has nothing to do with IObit :

Then I would have to ask Chris what the whole iobit image and blurb is about ?

But, for me Guilt by association has a lot to answer for ;D

@ everyone

I never expected any company to be this slimy  :-X

I don't store my personal files on the cloud. Just programs. So I thought, it would be helpful for people who upload programs which doesn't have any sensitive information.

Thanks to Bob who checked it out.

It turns out that Iobit is the most slimy company I have ever seen.

As you see, I clicked on that link on the program and I ended up here :

But In reality,

Yes, I won't be having even a slight thing to do with Iobit anymore  :-X
