It is still an immature programme so I would only use it as a last resort

When I first read your comment I thought you wrote.

"It is still an immature programme so I would use it only at a lost resort" which doesn't make a lot of sense but is kind of funny if you like that kind of humor. :)

Seriously:  I totally agree however as I notice updates to it I will post that info.

Just curious.   Do you use any Google products?   I think they have been sued a lot more than IObit has?   I think Google has also been fined by the EU.   Google has also publicly admitted spying on their users when their users use Google products.

How about Microsoft products?  You are probably using one right now as you read this.   Microsoft had a 10 year restraining order placed on them by the U.S. Department of Justice for dirty deeds.   I think Microsoft has also been fined by the EU.

A pure and holy company is a lot harder to find than North Carolina U.S.A. barbecued spare ribs are at Oxford or Cambridge. :)

Most Interesting Windows software news in a very long time

Windows 7 PCs to Stay on Sale Until October 2014

Quote
Although Microsoft still struggles to convince everyone that Windows 8 is worth a shot, Windows 7 continues to remain the top choice for most new PC buyers in the world.

Windows 7 computers, however, will stay on sale until October 2014, according to Microsoft’s very own guidelines that allow manufacturers to deploy an older OS two years after the launch of a newer version.

Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Windows 8 won’t increase its market share, but with so many users finding the new OS confusing, it’s very likely to see a slow adoption in the next couple of years.

8 in 10 buyers actually choose Windows 7 over Windows 8, a PC builder has revealed, hinting that some consumers aren’t at all satisfied with the GUI changes Microsoft has implemented into its new OS.

My guess is this means that there will probablay be a W7-SP2 in the future.  It also means that W7 will continue to be supported by Microsoft and 3rd party software vendors for probabaly at least five more years.    I would also expect at least several more years of W7 support coming from hardware vendors

I just killed my plans to upgrade to W8 :)  Seriously

Obviously not but it is an Android device. The incompatibility could mean that phones running the latest Android would also be incompatible.

Your incorrect in your assumptions since my smartphone is running the latest version of android.
