Just purchased a "3 PC, Lifetime License" for Outpost Professional Firewall for $39 Bucks US.
I know many Evangs already have lifetime licenses for this proven, professional class FW
Really an excellent deal/Value for the money. ;)

To each their own. I prefer the free version with windows 8.  :)

I could never get this firewall to install as it always froze the computer at reboot.
The free (2009) firewall is not even an option as it will be extremely vulnerable as its nearly 4 years old and never been updated.
Why on earth this is still available for download is a complete mystery and should have been axed years ago.

Disagree.
That hasn't been my experience in the years I've used it with XP and now Win8. Has effectively stopped numerous threats and potential hacks as well as for me has been super easy to set up and passes all security tests thrown at it; especially 'anti-leak' and DNS vulnerability.

It requires some setting changes to make it happen:

Once Done, these are the results:

Unselect the boxes in the second picture and you'll return to the old interface. (At least for now.)

Well it took some changes to the settings the last time Google did this (change the layout) to retain the classic inbox setup ;D

So I'm glad it wasn't required this time as I really don't need lots of tabs/different inboxes.

Apply Windows Updates to Many PC's from a USB Drive while Off Line
Great when you want to update multiple computers but they don't all
have internet access.

It's fine as long as all the machines have the same Windows version. Useless otherwise.

Automatically create a desktop shortcut when you plug in a USB Drive

The shortcut disappears when the drive is removed.
(Works as advertised)
