Is it another method like scanning downloads with Metadefender for Chrome extension  for instance?

Can it be used next to avast's as a residential scanner?

Who uses this extra fence around his or her Windows computer and what are your experiences with it?
What are the benefits?

I quite like like VoodooShield on Auto, it even check whether a downloadable exe has been signed,
but VoodooShield is quite another animal like VT, Metadender and Winja.
