What firewall rules are required by Avast Free?

I am using only File Shield with cloud services enabled and I was wondering, what do I have to allow?
I use those at the moment. Registration requires connection to Google, but that is one time deal.

Best you set your FW to "ask" and allow everything related to Avast.

Unfortunately, Windows Firewall does not ask.

Windows FW shouldn't block Avast.

I block all inbound/outbound, except allowed. I prefer to tighten up rules as much as possible, IP range, ports, etc. It sure helped in CCleaner's case.

I'd suggest to use a dedicated 3rd party FW then.

I wish, but all good ones are long gone, like Jetico or Private Firewall, even Emsisoft abandoned its own.
I do not trust Comodo, Binisoft does not work, Sphinx is expensive, the rest does not allow advanced rules.

Avast  Free doesn't have a firewall.
