Avast UI failed to load windows 10
« on: May 09, 2018, 11:53:12 PM »
I noticed after the windows 0 April 2018 update which is really a service pack update from Microsoft. My Avast UI failed to load prompted appeared for the for first time.
Here is the fix:
1. Download Avast clear which is the uninstaller for Avast - make sure you follow the uninstaller directions at Avast website
2. Before you re-install Avast go to start button in search bar type services.msc
3. In start menu right-click on services icon select run as administrator
4. Start background intelligent services
5. Start Remote Desktop Services also turn on or start the rest of Remote services it should be four of them listed right in a row
6. Go to start button open run command type msconfig enter
7. Go to services tab got to bottom and select enable all button then select ok
8. Re-start computer
9. Clear all Temp files - follow these instructions to do so
10. Go to start button open run command type %temp% enter
11. Delete everything
12. Re-install Avast

Weiter so!!
LG,
Torsten
