Subscription & Definition Issues
« on: May 21, 2018, 07:54:56 PM »
This morning my Avast-protected cellphone had not had a virus definition update since 2013. I attempted to update for over a hour before uninstalling and reinstalling Avast...This ended up costing me another $6 going Pro for the SECOND time this year. I have all my purchase receipts, emails from Google Play, nothing mattered and I had to repurchase. Now, after a hour and a half working on this my virus definitions STILL have not updated and your company has double charged me as though it was not their issue. What gives, is there anything anyone can or will do?

Definitions should be fixed already. Yet can't comment anything on double charge on Google Play. Never faced this type of issue.

Hello, Google manages the billing relationships on Android, not Avast. But we do have this guide about how to handle common issues, including a way to contact Support to provide individual attention: https://www.avast.com/faq.php?article=AVKB86
