I am using Avast AV Free if it helps. On Windows 10 pro 64bit 1903 latestYes, the Antivirus engine server aswEngSrv.exe is back after a trial (not everyone will have been involved in that) and withdrawal for further improvement.See this topic and this post in particular https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=228020.msg1510601#msg1510601.Ah! Thanks David for the clarification. Sorry, my bad. I missed that post.

What is a diference from Overseer? It would seem that's the way Avast wants to go (data collecting), so you aren't going to get a reasonable answer to that ("to help us improve the product").Anyway new issue, right clicking explorer scans does not bring up results after the first scan.

Confirmation and information came up after the right click explorer scan.
Thanks, looking good. Edit: The 'firewall network profile' pop-up bug has been resolved here on my system.Interestingly, the pop -up "did" return after 1st. reboot initiated by the install.A "2nd." reboot cleared the issue.I have come to always reboot a 'second' time as it often clears up glitches.
Good news everyone!New AV version 19.6.2383 has just been released. What's NEW:A smarter Smart Scan - We've redesigned our Smart Scan to be better than ever, and you can now even schedule itImproved performance - We've reduced the amount of disk and CPU usage our antivirus needsImproved stability - We've unified some headers across the app for greater stabilityA cleaner goodbye - If you ever uninstall us (gasp!), we now do a better job of removing all our filesBug stomping - Sensitive Data Shield scans no longer finish prematurely, and Mail Shield no longer blocks connections if it can't connect to an IPv6 addressGame on! - We're now more compatible with games that use anti-cheating measures (e.g., League of Legends)<snip>

GUI does show progress but it is stuck and runs sporadically with % only showing movement, jumping some 10-12% at a time. When Cancel is clicked, SDS automatically reports as finished; doesn't matter what the scan progress is reported as. Worked fine in 19.5 all last month.
