Account compromised

I received warnings from multiple sites monitoring the dark web that my Avast account has been compromised. Strange, I'd think that of all places Avast would be among the most secure.  Resetting my password, but my can't do that for my email address.  Probably should use a password manager, but I find that much too complex.  Just a heads up on what seems to be lax Avast security procedures.

There is nothing to stop you changing your linked email address.

Open your my.avast.com account.  Add a new email address, when that is validated you should be able to change that to your default email address.
