video downloader stopped working

I have been using the video downloader somewhat regularly for the last several months without any issues.  I was downloading a number of videos from youtube and then all of a sudden it stopped working.  The download option appears, but when I click on it nothing happens, it does not download.   That's odd that it does not download?  The download option does not always appear regularly now.  It is there and then it is not.  I have tried other videos to download with no luck, nothing downloads when I click download.  I even uninstalled and installed the browser and that did not help  A number of months ago there was some discussion about this being worked on and improved, I was just wondering if anyone can offer any assistance to my problem?  thank you!

I am perfectly happy to use the avast browser, but in the meantime does anyone know of a good youtube video downloader for MP4?  I am in a hurry, because videos can vanish at any time.  thank you!

I had need to use Video Downloader recently and suffered the same problem as rcbrad3.
Either click Download and nothing happens, or clicking the little video camera icon in toolbar comes up with box stating no video here to download (or something like that).
Some videos do not show the downloader above the video screen area. I had assumed those were protected from being downloaded or something.

Try running Secure Browser in Stealth Mode and see if that makes a difference.
