I vote for the Old setting menu, specifically that shield part that let use excluded file/folders/process from SHIELDS ONLY.

None of actual voted options are something I care fore

I vote for the continuation of the Avast Passwords Manager
which is scheduled to be discontinued.

The hacked passwords and web notification features look most useful. Driver Updater might be, if it doesn't risk applying the wrong driver e.g. a generic one instead of for a specific laptop configuration.

There should really be an option to choose 'Don't want' as some of the suggestions are not even a 'Nice to have'... I don't think Speed Test has any place in an AV, it's really not hard to find several good tests online. The AV Timeline will also be of no interest to the vast majority of users who just want an 'install and forget' AV.

Firewall redesign in Premium is most welcome! But would the lite version be any better than the built in W10 firewall? If not, it's probably not needed and just adds extra complexity.

I also support all 3 suggestions by Martin.
For me
" improving the handling of firewall rules and customization options"
is something I've always looked for.

You aren't alone but, it's not going to happen.
The best thing you can do is to get ready for its deletion.

I would like to be able to find out why my account says I have 2 devices when I only have 1.  Simple question that a Customer Service Dept could easily help with.

Well you aren't actually talking directly to customer support, mostly it will be avast users helping others.
It also is off-topic for this topic about Avast Features and should really have been in its own new topic.

That said aren't you getting any more details ?

When you talk of devices, that isn't something I'm familiar with in regard to Avast Products, more so in regard to two licenses/subscriptions, etc.
A screenshot of this notification might help ?

I suggest reviewing the main screen. It is very poor in information, indeed there is nothing except that the system is protected. It's better than AVG with much more information. Add last updated information, active modules, and a scan button ... ;)
Thank you and good day!

Updates can be launched from the avast tray icon, no need to go into the UI first.

Though there has been talk (but no action) for a very long time about a revision of this feature to include common actions.  So far nada, nothing, bugger all.

So how about the promised update of the Avast Tray Icon context menu.

I preferred this.

https://youtu.be/Je7KLDx3m4k
It really made getting to some functions very easy and had the ability to expand on that functionallity.
As David mentioned, the expansion of the system tray right click function has still not implemented.
It would certainly make life easier for all of us.

Avast 7 wasn't bad, some images here - https://expertvista.com/2012/avast-7/
Avast 6 was very similar.

For me Avast 8 was the start of the rot, with the introduction of the new Microsoft Tiles (massive) interface style (that everyone and their friend was copying.  Though the nice background image never got to fruition (outside of the blog article) that I can recall - https://blog.avast.com/2013/03/28/the-avast-8-user-interface/
