I rather doubt this would have the 'dramatic' impact the you think.

You're average user just doesn't go looking for things like this, they want an antivirus to do its job and protect them. This is more your security interested user that may go looking for trends.

I suggest adding automatic scanning of USB drives when they are inserted.
Since a lot of malware is spread via USB it would be nice to have automatic scanning of USB drives, so add the possibility of letting the user choose whether to activate the on-demand scan notification (as is already present now) and the automatic scan possibly with the customizable settings.

Kaspersky and Bitdafender already have this feature. ;)
Thank you and good day!

Isn't that function there already, see attached image.

Also The File System Shield would also scan any activated file and this would include USB drives.

I suggest that when updating the database, this green band does not appear going from one side to the other.
It could be a progress bar, loading and showing the percentage.
If you want to know the details, look at the ESET NOD32. There is a perfect progress bar there.
This Avast loading bar makes it very ugly when you put it to update.

"Limited mode" in notification settings should show pup-up with results, when file is scanned trough context menu in Windows Explorer and block pop-up, when "new network" is scanned automatically.  In principle is the same, as background scanning of files or websites and it should alert only, when is something vulnerable discovered.

So in short:
"Limited mode" should block offers, ads and unnecessary pop-ups like "new network" scan.
"Limited mode" should show pop-up with scan results, when I manually scan file/folder/drive in explorer context menu.

Could you add a few new (but not too complicated) improvements to the Avast Premium Security program in the near future?

I am very irritated by the fact that you have to manually enter the Avast program, go into settings and activate banking mode. This is tedious, a better solution would be to add automatic detection of user-customized sites or algorithms that will detect whether a site requires this mode to be enabled. I remember that in the 2016 version, you could do this from the context menu, but not now.

The second thing I would add is the addition of ad-blocking functionality to browser protection, so that you wouldn't have to install the Avast Online Security plugin.

I would also add automatic application isolation in the sandbox - when an unknown process is detected (yes, I know it exists - Avast CyberCapture), but I noticed that not all unknown applications are always detected by this algorithm. If so, an option should be added that will enable the activation of Avast CyberCapture and/or automatically add any process to the sandbox. Moreover, it is sometimes better to add such an application to the sandbox in such a way that Avast CyberCapture monitors applications even if it determines that it is safe - then we increase security against non-file attacks and new viruses that are not in the signature database.

In the case of Avast Ultimate, it is very inconvenient to use many different applications, it would be better to introduce everything in one application - at least VPN, AntiTracker, and CleanUp Premium, and BreachGuard. Having several different products and managing them is simply monotonous. Or maybe you will introduce something like Avast One but in the form of a license as it is in Premium, Ultimate products?
