Hi Everybody,

My question is very simple, is it possible to connect via the APOP protocol through Avast email scanner ?
If not, is it by any chance already scheduled ?

No, it is not supported.

I think that APOP between a mail program and the mail scanner is not possible, because the mail scanner needs to gain the server name from the username (NAME#SERVER format) and cannot then "forward" the authentication to the server (it is challenge-response).

APOP between the mail scanner and a mail server is possible, but not implemented.
