Inconsistent Virus Detection with Outlook
« on: February 01, 2007, 08:42:15 PM »
Hi,

We are experiencing inconsistent on-access virus detection on infected emails. Some of our computers detect virus attachments on incoming email and send them to the virus chest immediately, while on other computers the same attachments are ignored until the on-demand scan runs. Any help regarding this problem would be appreciated.

All of our computers have VPS 0709-2, 02/01/2007, and Engine version 4.7.599.0.
We are using ADNM Build: Jun2006(4.7.531). All of the computers concerned have the same policies applied to them in ADNM.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry I'm unable to help, just a humble avast user, but perhaps this may receive quicker attention in the ADNM forum, http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=10.0
