Hi lukas, update seems went fine, but I can't click "In 10 minutes" from "Remind me later" button. No response when clicked. Other options are clickable.

Hi NON, you are right. I reported this issue to GUI team. Thank you very much for your feedback

It installed without any problems. I really like how it now installs fully and shows progress within single popup from start to end. Before, even when popup above taskbar was gone, it was still installing stuff with another progress bar within the interface and it really wasn't done well. This is much better. When popup above taskbar disappears, it's fully installed. I like that.

I do have a complaint though. Under "Custom" install, those "Minimal" and "Recommended" buttons on the right edge of installer feel totally out of place there. Place them between the introduction text and all the checkboxes. Anywhere but where they are would be better quite frankly. Would prefer if it was a button with text only. Having to hover over icons to see what they even are is an unnecessary step.

Hello RejZoR, thank you for your feedback. We will discuss situation about "Minimal" and "Recommended" buttons within team. Thank you for now

Hi guys, today we published new AV 21.4.6249.504 build to this BETA channel. Can you please wait for automatic application update or start update manually and let us know in case of any issue? Thank you

Download links:
https://honzik.avcdn.net/setup/avast-av/beta/avast_free_antivirus_online_setup.exe
https://honzik.avcdn.net/setup/avast-av/beta/avast_premium_security_online_setup.exe
https://honzik.avcdn.net/setup/avast-av/beta/avast_omni_online_setup.exe

Just for your info:
- (random) issue with "111111" screen after reinstall of legacy/current setup by new setup - already solved in our INTERNAL build, fix should be released during NEXT program update to 21.5 version
- issue that main UI page is opened if you click on "Check for updates" from "Update" settings - already solved in our INTENRAL build, fix should be released during NEXT program update to 21.5 version
- issue that "In 10 minutes" item could not be selected from "Remind me later" of restart dialog - already solved in this build, you can try it
- issue with bad user experience with "Minimal" and "Recommended" buttons on "Custom install" setup screen - we agreed that its not ideal. We will try to adjust it in some NEXT program update

Thank you

Is there also a download for Omni?

hello, don't tell anyone ;) but you can get one here; please be extra patient with it, we are focused on the basic functionality for now
https://honzik.avcdn.net/setup/avast-av/beta/avast_omni_online_setup.exe
Is there also a separate removal tool (clear)? Thanks

Hello, yes we have removal tool also for AV product installed via new installer but some functionality is missing there (for example ask dialog if product should be removed from windows safe mode etc.) so we have not published new removal tool yet. Do you really need it? (-> your product is broken and uninstall does not work?) or you are only curious / you want to test it. I can send you download link in case that your AV is broken but I hope this is not this case :)

Hello, thank your for your test and feedback. Difference between last number in build version can be caused by downloaded micro-update. Can you please send me your app logs from these folders? I will check it
c:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Icarus\Logs\
c:\ProgramData\Avast Software\Avast\Log\
c:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Persistent Data\Avast\Logs\

+ was it clean install or you reinstalled your current production/beta build by this new installer? Thank you

I checked it on my machine with installed AV from this BETA channel and I can confirm that .439 is number of downloaded micro-update. You can check "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Avast Software\Avast\MicroUpdates" in your registry. There should be "439" value which affected last number in "program version" displayed in AV UI

Hello Lucas,
I'm both curious and you guys are currently working on solving a problem on my Omni install that tells me there's an update pending each time I start the computer. Logs have already been sent via Slack.

Hi Lukas, thanks for checking, let me know if you still would want/need the logs.

PS: I installed over the top of the old "main stream" beta.

Can you please send me a link to slack conversation where logs are attached? (or resend them to me if its some private conversation) I would like to check issue with update pending as well. Does it mean that there is some message that shows info that newer version is on server when you are already up-to date? Thank you
