Thanks a lot for reply, Tech.

I don't think my computer was infected by virus, because I use avast over 4 years (I scheduled a Boot Time Scanning month ago).

I try to start Avast (I click on the blue ball icon on the desktop), but after checking memory and autostart (without any problems), the avast shutdown - it's crazy!

where is the problem? what should I do?

I'd be grateful for all your suggestions.

Schedule a boot time scanning again...
Just run:
C:\Program Files\ALWIL Software\Avast4\sched.exe /A:*

Why, is it because it doesn't work or you don't know how ?

If the latter, try this.
Click the windows Start button, Run and paste the path Tech gave 'C:\Program Files\ALWIL Software\Avast4\sched.exe /A:*' without the quotes into the Open: window and click OK.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

I still a little bit lamer in computers, but finally I do boot scan  ;D. Avast don't find any virus.

After reboot, I try to start Avast (I click on the blue ball icon on the desktop), but after checking memory and autostart (without any problems), the avast shutdown!

Hi,

I uninstall Avast, then I try to open IE. All looks ok.

Next I reinstall avast pro (the newest ver) and the IE crash  :'( Even if I stop script blocer and web shield (I'm not sure how it is call in English) IE shutdown at once.

I suppose that the problem is script blocker. Earlier I use Avast Home and there isn't any problem. When I buy Pro version I break down.

If you need more info I try to answer it. My XP pro is up-to-date: all upgrades are installed.

If you feel script blocker, is your problem, stopping it may not be enough. Left click the "a" icon, select script blocker, terminate button.

in my language is call:
- pause - stopping service for a while
- stop - even after restart the service is stopped.

I use the second option, but the result is as mentioned above  :-[

Alternatively, you can try uninstalling ScriptBlocker to make really sure it's innocent.

Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> avast! Antivirus -> Change/Remove and uncheck the box next to ScriptBlocker (at the bottom of the list of features).

Thanks

Hello again,

I downgrade to avast home (without script blocker). IE 7 works, beside problem with some webs (e.g. www.avast.com and www.ae.krakow.pl - mentioned ealier). It seems to be problem with javascripts, but I have no idea what is it and how I can fix it.

Thanks a lot for all your reply, but my browser still don't work perfectly.

But my browser still don't work perfectly.
Even after you've uninstalled Script Blocker? So... avast is not the only guilty here...
By the way, I use IE7 with Script Blocker without problem...

Tech, thanks a lot for your replies.

The problem with IE7 starts just after upgrade to pro version - avasr probably change something in windows register during installation. Do you know how I can repair it?

I buy pro version because I want use script blocker. I'd be grateful for any help.
