I think I made very clear I have a problem with that prefix.

Not with the fact that it is non-english but it's use as a prefix in far too many terms in the mid 20th century that are well recorded in history and are totally repugnant to many of us who have family members that gave their lives or their blood to overcome the evil regime (and its cohorts of that time) that used those words so prolifically to define their superiority over their fellow humans.

Every time I see it I am offended.  It has not stopped me contributing - but it has not stopped me being offended either.  I wonder if we have any contributors here from Israel - if we do ... do they care?

Then, i can hate the USA. USA aproved the fascist regime of General Franco in Spain, no? Franco killed a lot of people, and the USA aproved because were comunist people. Hipocresy made in USA  ;D
But not, i don't hate USA or their people.

A language is a language and their words, not actions made by people who speak thaht language.

Vlk,

I apologize for provoking a political discussion in this thread.  I shall post no further on this in the forum.

I am not aware of an evangelist corner ... if you would care to direct me to it by personal message ....

Later edit...

Sorry for the blindness too ... I just found it.

<snip>
By the way belated congratulations on your relatively new status - sorry I missed it earlier.

A pity tis that in this supposedly English language forum you now have a repugnant title not unlike that of an SS stormtroop commander.
<snip>

Thank you.

Personally I have no problem with it I don't believe there is any underlying meaning or purpose. I spent three enjoyable tours of duty in Germany and numerous exercises, where we were working with the German Armed Forces and the use of Über relates to a Rank rather than any Branch or Arm of the forces (Stormtrooper Comander, long defunct) or political policy.

I don't even know if Alwil choose it or the other forum grades including Evangelist or if it is just one of a ;ist that can be chosen using the SMF forum software.

What is the changelog for this new version and the previos one, because I can't find it on the main site (it's not updated since version 4.7.1043)?  ??? Thanks in advance.

Aren't the users 'checked' if they're Evangelists or not before being allowed to that area?
What's the matter if people has the address and can't enter on it?
I can't believe someone that knows the address could freely enter there...

Ok...thanks for updating the page, but still the changelog for the previous version it's missing, and I would be glad to know what was changed in that version (the one after 4.7.1043). Thank you very much.

And so? Isn't it secure?
