Annoying Avast Clean Up pop ups
« on: April 09, 2022, 03:58:43 PM »
"Avast clean up has updated" annoying and intrusive pop-ups happen daily, I'd say it started about a week ago. I close the first one and a second one pops up immediately. I'll be in the middle of a sensitive transaction and boom....screen is taken over by Avast. I've reached out to customer support but have not heard anything back, I've activated the "turn off all notifications" option and still they happen. Ironic that a service I pay for is annoying me as much as what they are supposed to be managing on my behalf. Any suggestions from others who may have experienced this?

Hi,

Have you restarted your device yet since you received the update notification?
