Can you please clarify the following?
- Which specific Avast app did you install? Was it the free version of Avast Security for Mac?
- What is the exact error message that appears as you try to open a website when the internet connection is not working? Can you send us a screenshot showing the error?
- Are you able to reinstall Avast when connected to your VPN?
- Are you using the iCloud Private Relay? If so, can you please try disabling this feature?
