On UI version 1.0.797, though it didn't push it until after I restarted my computer (to install Windows Updates), and my Notification issue is fixed. However, I do not have the black bar issue.

I have this dark bar too. But I don't think that's a problem. Let's hope the AVAST team does something about this.

Double checked, and I do have the 'black bar' when I click on other areas like 'Protection' and 'Performance' However, I don't think that's a "black bar" so much as a really dark dimming of the screen behind. You'll notice that it dims to the same shade when you click on the Menu or Notifications dropdowns in the top right.

I also don't think it's a UI bug.
I believe this dark part was already present in the old version of Avast.
But since there were several people commenting on this subject, I made a point of reporting it here and recording the matter.

In my history, I've just seen a notification of a new device that ( apparently ) doesn't belong to me and for which I hadn't seen the alert in real time.

So, I can't see the date when it connected to see if it was one of my devices (misidentified) or if it was an intruder.  :-[

Let's hope that the next update gives us the right date/time again.
Strange because this device (unknown) no longer appears in my notification history now that the date is right.
An old notification that I had deleted?
