-= Well.. I don't really use IE because based on what I heard and experienced.. Mozilla Firefox is faster, customizable & more secure.. In add-ons, I use Adblock, Flashblock & NoScript [even though avast has a script blocker.. just to be twice secured..]

For IE simply download and use iePlus it has built in ad blocking and a whole lot more.

It does not have IE7Pro's Tabbed Browsing Management, Spell Check, Inline Search, Super Drag Drop, Crash Recovery, Proxy Switcher, Tab History Browser, Web Accelerator, User Agent Switcher, AD Blocker, Flash Block, Greasemonkey like User Scripts platform, User Plug-ins, MiniDM, IE Faster and many more power packed features.

I like its Accu Weather Plug in and YouTube download.

It does not have IE7Pro's
Can't they be used together, side by side?

emmmm, yeah, you right, it's faster and customizable, but I cannot trust it as more secure, IE has more capability to be more secure, just if you want... IE would open any site in the best possible view, it has anything a browser need, especially IE 8 is going to very very better, Crash Recovery per tab, better management for Add-ons , InPrivate browsing and many many great features.

NoScript is a good add-on, but it's annoying for long times usage, oh... keep allowing every new domain that you want to visit... no... I don't like it, I prefer avast! script blocking and SpywareBlaster for IE...

Omid, for 90% of the sites, you can visit them without using their scripts. So, you do not need to grand access to NoScript, just let it blocked ;)

Hi Alan Baxter,

Good report, yes ABP is so versatile, and you can subscribe to language or geo-specific subscription lists - a good one is Rick752's Easy Element & Easy Privacy List and dozens others and they are regularly automatically updated, the extension is highly tweakable, and when I am browsing with another browser I frighten at what I am normally not watching (banner and ad-wise, and forms, and questionnaires etc., etc.

The RequestPolicy is another one that makes it easy to just show what part of a website you want in your browser, and leave out what you do not want, and things that should not be there any longer I nuke with the YARIP add-on , just a click and gone forever.....

Most users of the Fx browser haven't even seen what it is capable of,

greets,

especially IE 8 is going to very very better

-= Yup..! IE8 RC1 is really great.. But like before, I have this "fear" that the final version will not be as fast and might be heavier to resources than the RC1..

@chronoboi001: yes, it's normal if you think like that, but it's not my idea, it seems Microsoft have found the "Heavy" applications would not be user friendly, you can see the what Microsoft is doing in Winodows 7 and other new programs too... hope it be lighter in final version!!! ;)

I do not use IE7Pro any more as it does not support IE8 very well  and it looks like it is a dead application.

What I find is very effective at blocking ads and known malware sites is the use of a HOSTS file managed by HostsMan and its browser speedup proxy Hosts Server:
http://www.abelhadigital.com

I use hpHosts and MVPS HOSTS files only as they are adequate for my needs.

I am likeing Vista a lot better now that I'm getting used to it but I wish I could sell my old XP Home system as that would give me a bit of additional money to play with.

I still think that Firefox is so much better than Shiternet Explorer.

But to each their own.

Your entitled to your opinion but calling Internet Explorer Shiternet Explorer doesn't make the product any worse or better.
Hope it's made you feel better.....
