« on: February 23, 2009, 02:17:34 PM »
I do!
I've added some keyword to URL Blocking in avast! web shield to block some popular ads! any suggestion?!
now I'm happy about that because it block the additional traffic and also now I don't need additional program that work as a BHO or Toolbar in my Internet Explorer to increase time needed to load IE main window :)

I'll like to know a good ad blocker for IE... I think avast webshield is not designed to do so.
I use FF and AdBlock and I'm very happy without popups and ads.

Adblock Plus is the one to use in Firefox. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865
It has tremendous current support from its developer and the rest of the Adblock Plus team of contributors and filter set developers.  The old Adblock that Tech linked hasn't had any improvements for over three years and has no current filter sets.
