How to Remove Win32:BHO-WI with avast?

Dear All avast engineer,

Our customer got infected with Win32:BHO-WI and they already using avast! before infected. But when they did boot scan at their infected PC with avast, there's still displayed red icon on tray or task bar of user windows.

But previously after user did boot scan, user couldn't login into their Win XP and their repaired user win XP, and back to normal. But user still found that avast displyaed on their task bar with the red icon.

We need your advice how to remove Win32:BHO-WI and mark clean the red status with avast on task bar?

Means that the protection is disabled and it's not working.
Try a repair of your installation:
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove. Then choose Repair function in the popup window (Repair).

If the red cross does not disappear from the icon. Post back.
