Is avast! 5 released when Windows 7 is out ?
And avast! 5 then gets full Windows 7 support ?

avast 4 is already fully supported at Windows 7.
avast 5 will be also.

For those who have already installed on the PC version 4.8, with the appearance of version 5, the transition from version 4.8 to version 5 will be done through a simple update on the program, or will have to be uninstalled version 4.8 ? Thanks!

It will be a reinstall I believe because it is a major change in avast from the 4.x version.

Windows 7 is not in its final stage yet. Many changes are still to come. No permanent system requirements would be posted yet.

Somehow, CNET already mentioned it's Win7 compatibilty. CNET-avast!
