Avast 5 Pro won't update

I purchased a 3 year license for 5 Pro and the software won't update. I have inserted the License key. It says that the subscription status is Active and that the subscription is valid until 03/19/2013. However, when Avast tries to auto-update or when I try to update manually is says that the license key for this product is invalid. Help! BTW this is 10 licenses so I now have 10 computers that cant update virus protection. Ver. 5.0.396

Please try the following: open your license file in Notepad and move the cursor to the last line. Are you on an empty line, or is there any text on the last line?
If you're on an empty line, press backspace (to remove that empty line) and save the file; then, insert the updated file into the program again.

The license file doesn't work because a refund has been performed for the corresponding purchase.
You should have received another license file for the second purchase - so please use that one.
